Volunteer for the 18th Annual Celebration!
Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is excited to finalize plans for our 18th Annual Awards Celebration on June 13, 2023, in downtown Indianapolis at the charming Heirloom, just a few steps from Lucas Oil Stadium. This is our biggest night of the year when we award the $100,000 Change Maker grant! The event begins at 5:00pm. You can learn more and purchase tickets here.
Volunteer Opportunities are available!
Volunteering not only is important to help us make the night special for our guests, but it’s also a great opportunity to meet other members. Most of the shifts are staggered, and we put all event activities on hold during the Focus Area presentations so volunteers don’t miss a thing.
Please take the time to look at the following areas where we need volunteers. Once you find one or two that interest you, send an email to Emilie Britt, our Volunteer Coordinator, at impact100@gmail.com with any questions or to sign-up for a volunteer activity.
Bring an Impact Friend and volunteer together. Everything is more fun with a friend!
Volunteers are needed in each of following areas:
Setup:
- Chair: Bailey Peycha
- What: Help with placing signage, table displays, and centerpieces on tables.
- When: 3-5pm
- Notes:
- Volunteers can arrive after 3pm if their schedules require a later start.
- All tables will be pre-set with tablecloths, plates/silverware, napkins and chairs, and setup volunteers will only be responsible for placing our materials.
- There is a separate dressing area in the Ladies room where volunteers can change and get ready for the evening’s festivities if they wish to volunteer in more casual clothes.
Greeter/Registration:
- Chair: DianeThompson
- What: Greet guests, direct them to the correct check-in table (prepaid vs pay-at-the-event), and orient them to the venue, including where to find their seat (if assigned), the cash bar, etc.
- When: 4:30-6:15pm
- Notes:
- Greeters must arrive at 4:30pm to get oriented and receive final instructions before doors open at 5pm.
- The goal is to avoid lines at the door, with Greeters helping guests move into the venue as quickly as possible.
Membership Table
- Chair: Freedom Smith
- What: Provide information to potential members and take payments for 2024 memberships.
- When: 5-6:15pm, during breaks in the program, and after the 2023 Change Maker is announced.
- Notes:
- Volunteers are provided with information and materials to give those interested in joining for 2024 but are encouraged to tell their own story and reasons for being a part of Impact 100.
- Square readers and access to the Impact 100 Square app are also provided.
- Volunteers may find it helpful to review our Membership page and FAQs to become more familiar with the details.
Wine & Kindred Spirits Pull
- Chair: Amy Olson-Miller
- What: Assist with selling tickets and encourage guests to purchase a ticket to trade for a bag containing a bottle of wine or spirits valued at the cost of a ticket or greater.
- When: Volunteers are needed to help with set-up at 3:30pm, and to work from 5pm until all pulls are sold.
- Notes:
- Volunteers are provided with Square readers and access to the Impact 100 Square app.
- We are collecting donations of bottles, gift certificates to purchase bottles, and dollars to purchase bottles. Click here for more information.
Cookie Raffle
- Chair: Katie Hughes
- What: Assist with selling cookies and promoting the Fantastic Prizes attached to some of the cookies.
- When: Volunteers are needed from 4-5pm to help with set-up, and from 5pm until all pulls are sold.
- Notes:
- Volunteers are provided with Square readers and access to the Impact 100 Square app.
- Some of the cookies come with an additional surprise, making the raffle more than just a sweet treat for some.
Social Media Table
- Chair: We need a volunteer to Chair the Social Media Table
- What: We need several volunteers who enjoy taking happy pics and helping others post to social media. Some will sit at the Social Media Table while others will roam the venue taking pictures to post on our social media and encourage others to take pictures and post on their social media.
- When: Volunteers are needed at 4:30pm to help with set-up, and from 5-6:15pm, during breaks in the program, and after the 2023 Change Maker is announced to get our event on Social Media.
- Notes:
- Volunteers can sign-up to work specific times or for the whole evening.

Cleanup-the event ends promptly at 8:30pm
- Chair Bailey Peycha
- What: Help with tear down and boxing up items
- When: 8:30-9:00pm
Sponsorships
- Chair: Terry Mumford
- What: Sponsors and Underwriters help ensure we can keep ticket prices low. If your employer or someone you know could benefit from supporting Impact 100 and getting their information in front of our members, let us know.
- When: Now through May 31.
- Notes:
- Sponsors are recognized on our website and at the event.
- We have sponsorships levels from $250 to $5000. Benefits vary depending on the amount of the sponsorship. Some levels include tickets to the event.
