Join the Giving Tuesday Movement!
Founded to inspire people to improve their local communities by giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, we hope you participate in #GivingTuesday by helping Impact 100 Give the Gift of Scholarship. All donations made on #GivingTuesday will go to our Leaders of the Future Scholarship Program.
December 5: Holiday Party – Mix and Mingle!
Celebrate the season with fellow members of Impact 100 for an evening of learning and cheer at the beautiful Indianapolis Propylaeum. Learn more about the impact of giving as one and our mission to make transformational projects in the Greater Indianapolis community possible. All are welcome – members, potential members, and guests (including significant others and/or spouses). We can’t wait to meet all the new faces and introduce guests to our mission.
Small bites are complimentary and there will be a cash bar.
Free Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the historic building. Street parking is also available.

December 15: Letters of Intent (LOI) due at 5pm
Letters of Intent (LOIs) are the first step in the Impact 100 granting process. Applicants should review our granting process and meet our eligibility requirements before applying. The deadline for submission of the 2024 LOI is December 15, 2023, by 5:00 p.m.

December 15: Scholarship Applications Due
The Impact 100 Leaders of the Future Scholarship program has been an important pipeline for developing new members and future leaders for Impact 100, including four current members of the Board of Directors. Many others have continued as members and have provided their leadership in important positions on our Focus Area Committees, Marketing, Membership, and other Board committees.

January 8: Deadline for 2024 Members to select a FAC
Members Only: If you’d like to be on a Focus Area Committee (FAC), it’s important to submit your preferences early so that committees can be finalized before their first meetings in January. For more information, read our blog on this topic or contact us at grants@impact100indy.org.

Annual Awards Celebration
5:15pm, June 11, 2024
Save the date for June 11, 2024, when we will hold our in-person Annual Awards Celebration, at The Heirloom Indianapolis. We’ll introduce the five finalists for the $100,000 Change Maker grant, they’ll have seven minutes to introduce their program, the 2024 Members will cast their vote for the program of their choice, and we will announce which of the five finalists will be our 2024 Change Maker and receive the $100,000 high impact grant. The other four finalists will each receive a Community Support Grant (amount of the grant will be announced in February when we announce the 2024 Grant Pool).

Donate to the Wine and Kindred Spirits Pull
Impact 100 is hosting a Wine and Kindred Spirits Pull at our 2024 Annual Awards Celebration on June 11, 2024. We will need lots of bottles to make this a success. Visit our blog for more information.
Monies raised from the Wine and Kindred Spirits Pull go to Impact 100’s “Friend” fund, supporting operating costs and overhead expenses. These funds ensure 100% of each membership donation goes directly to the annual Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis grant pool.

Annual Calendar
To better understand our program, here is a basic overview of a typical year. It starts with June because that is the both the end and the beginning of our grant making.

June
- Our Annual Awards Celebration with presentations by the nonprofits competing for our annual $100,000 grant. These presentations are followed by the Membership Vote and the announcement of the grant recipients. Keep an eye on the Annual Celebration page to keep yourself updated on planning for the current event and an overview of the previous one(s).
- Membership enrollment unofficially begins at the Annual Celebration with prizes to members joining at the Celebration.
July
- Vacation Month, no activities while the Board and members enjoy the summer.
August
- Board Orientation
- Committee Chair transitions
September
- Official Membership Kickoff Event (location and timing varies)
October
- Meet the Grant Recipients Event with this year’s grant recipients presenting how they are implementing their grant.
- Leaders of the Future Scholarship applications are made available. In 2024, the application form will be available in October. Applications are due December 1, 2023.
- Our LOI (Letter of Intent) becomes available on our website during October. The form will only be available on this webpage while we are accepting LOIs.
November
- Educational event featuring one or more past recipients.
- Nonprofit Workshop for nonprofits interested in learning more about our grants and granting processes. There will be previous grant recipients as well as representatives from Impact 100 providing information and answering questions. Since we are an all-volunteer organization and it is difficult for us to respond quickly to individual questions, it is highly recommended that interested nonprofits attend this short workshop.
December
- Due date for LOIs is in December. Look at the Grants Calendar for the exact date.
- Holiday Party, with a method of Giving Back to previous grant recipient(s).
- Leaders of the Future Scholarship Recipients are announced.
- Deadline for LOI (Letter of Intent) from Central Indiana Nonprofits applying for our annual Change Maker Grant. See the current Granting Calendar for more information.
- Deadline for members to register to serve on a Focus Area Committee (FAC) comes within the first week of December.
- December 31 is the official deadline for registering for next year’s membership.
January
- New Member Welcome/Orientation Event
- First Focus Area Committee meetings to train FAC members and ensure they understand and agree to our Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest policies.
February
- Second Focus Area Committee meetings to review Letters of Intent (LOIs)
- Nonprofits notified if their Letter of Intent has been approved by a Focus Area Committee. Those with approved LOIs will be sent a link to the Grant Application form. New Member Welcome/Orientation Event.
March
- Nonprofits asked to submit a full grant application must do so by the March deadline date. (Note: unsolicited grant applications are destroyed without review). See the current Granting Calendar for more information.
April
- Annual Awards Celebration volunteers meet to begin training.
- Focus Area Committee conduct nonprofit site visits.
- Fourth Focus Area Committee meetings.
May
- The Big Reveal with Focus Area Committees announcing the nonprofit they have selected to be their applicant for the $100,000 grant. See the current Granting Calendar for more information.
- Change Maker Finalists Reception where the selected nonprofits learn more about their
June
