High Five to LCFS!

| | | |

We work to provide opportunities for members and donors to donate directly to our grantees by providing information on the difference $5 can make and how to make that contribution to a Central Indiana Nonprofit.

September is World Hunger Month, and Lutheran Child & Family Services In/KY, Inc. (LCFS) is asking for your $5 contribution to address World Hunger through their services.

$5 for Dignity at The Sharing Place

At The Sharing Place Food Pantry, dignity starts with basic needs. Families come to us for food, but many also struggle with the often-overlooked challenge of affording hygiene products. These essentials are not covered by SNAP benefits, forcing parents to make impossible decisions.

That’s where you can make an immediate impact.

Just $5 provides a supply of dignity essentials, including:

– Feminine hygiene products
– Oral hygiene items like toothbrushes and toothpaste
– Socks and underwear
– Diapers for infants and toddlers

For the cost of a cup of coffee, you can help ensure a child goes to school without embarrassment, a baby stays in clean diapers, and a parent can provide not only food but also comfort and care.

Please go to https://www.lutheranfamily.org/support/hunger-action-month.html to make your $5 donation today. Of course, LCFS also accepts more than $5!

Your generosity keeps our shelves stocked and supports our neighbors. Every family deserves both nourishment and dignity.

Join us in turning $5 into hope and health for hundreds of children and families.
