Follow the Impact Update From the 2023 Change Maker Unconditional
Sarah Daniel at Unconditional sent us an update:
- So far in 2025, we’ve provided services to 104 individuals. This includes 43 who’ve attended “Club 180” (our weekly support group), 58 who’ve participated in “Compass” (our resource navigation program), 53 who’ve participated in “Homeward” (our housing program), and 34 who’ve participated in “Mend” (our free therapy program). What an impact!
- Year to date, the housing program staff have provided eviction prevention and/or housing for 50 women with and without children.
- We are preparing for our Annual Friendsgiving on November 25th. Year over year this is a fruitful event for our staff, volunteers, and clients alike.
- We’re launching a new mentorship program called GLOW and will begin recruiting mentors soon.
- We’re preparing for our Annual “Christmas Morning” celebration. We have over 30 ladies signed up to participate, and we are so thankful for Lakeview Church for sponsoring ALL the gifts for our clients.
- Our Housing Advocate and Program director completed a three-tier housing series called, “Housing is a Human Right, What is the Best Housing for Me?” The classes consisted of learning the value of understanding credit, credit repair, budgeting, understanding eviction and the eviction expungement process, and lastly, locating affordable housing in a location suited for community growth, while focusing on what is overall best for the individual and family. Thanks to their continuing education, our clients will continue to benefit even more from their support.
We are so grateful for our amazing programming staff and for the hard work they are doing daily for our Unconditional community! Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers alongside them, we are truly making a difference!
