Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis Member Barb Fleming Cecil Selected as 2018 Women of Influence Award Winner
Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is proud to announce Barb Fleming Cecil, a founder and 13-year member of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis, has been named one of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2018 Women of Influence. This annual award is given by the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) to recognize women who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in their careers and community service. The winners were honored and recognized during a breakfast on Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis.
Barb is the founder and president of BAF Corp. which she started in 1997, and has been a trailblazer in the industry ever since. In addition to her success in the business sector, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to assisting nonprofits in our community. Barb’s devotion to Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is evident as she’s not only an active member, but a founding member and previous president of the Impact 100 board of directors. Barb currently serves as board chairwoman for 2011 Impact 100 Change-Maker Outside the Box, helped transform a donated building on North Meridian Street for 2012 Change-Maker finalist Dove Recovery House and has served as former board chairwoman for Girls Inc.
Women of Influence winners represent local women from both the public and private sector who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in their careers and community service. Judges selected winners based on the nominee’s influential company roles and who provide a solid reputation based on experience, integrity, leadership, and a solid track record of accomplishment.
